Among 12 work-in-progress titles spotlighting Asian cinema heavyweights and promising new voices, Anahat Films’ Tamil feature Selvi has been selected for the 24th Hong Kong-Asia Film Financing Forum.

The Hong Kong-Asia Film Financing Forum (HAF) 2026 has announced its works-in-progress selection of 12 Asian titles, including Selvi, a Tamil-language feature from Anahat Films, written by Sailesh Rathnakumar and Bargav Sridhar and directed by Sailesh.

Selvi, starring Anjali Patil, is a Tamil-language drama about the endurance of a migrant home-care nurse, whose long hours blur the line between care and exhaustion, selected for the HAF 2026 works-in-progress lineup.
