Sailesh Rathnakumar

Sailesh Rathnakumar, is a writer-director whose creative vision is informed by an unquenchable curiosity about human nature and societal norms.

After graduating from Prague Film School, he returned to India intent on blending international influences with authentic local storytelling.

In 2025, Sailesh made his debut feature film, Selvi. Co-written with Bargav Sridhar, the film explores the struggles and hardships faced by healthcare service workers. Selvi stars Anjali Patil in the lead role.
